Custom domains

Use your own domain, such as go.yourbrand.com, for short links. SSL certificates are issued automatically.

1. In the dashboard, open Domains and enter the hostname. Use a subdomain: most DNS providers don’t allow a CNAME on the bare domain.
2. At your DNS provider, add the CNAME record shown, pointing your hostname at cname.lkrl.ink.
3. Wait for the status to change to Active. This usually takes a few minutes and can take up to 24 hours. Click “Check status” to refresh.
4. Choose the domain when creating links.

Domain settings

• Bare domain redirect: where visitors go if they open the domain without a short link.
• 404 redirect: where unknown short links go. Otherwise visitors see a branded “link not found” page.

To remove a domain, first move or delete the links that use it.
